Correspondence from Rawdon Reilly to his sister Emma Pinckney nee Reilly, 25 September 1893
This is Rawdon's last letter from Manipur as his regiment is marching tomorrow. They've had heavy rain lately which is worrying as they have 2 rivers to cross. He is dosing his men with quinine before going into the jungles. He hears that the huts in their new base are wet and damp.
