These photographs show scenes in the Jengka Triangle, where settlers were encouraged to move, to help increase the production of palm oil in the area. There are shots of young oil palms in the nursery, before they are transplanted into cleared jungle area, and later the harvesting of oil palm fruit. Some settler families are shown in front of their dwellings. The Jengka Triangle is in Pahang, West Malaysia.
These photographs have been arranged by their negative number,and there are some duplicates. However, the corresponding negatives have been removed from the series ref. 2000/132/2/8/2.
