Correspondence from Lewis Reilly and his wife Eleanor to Emma Pinckney nee Reilly, 22 September 1893
Lewis is writing from Germany to Emma as he is spending his family holidays in the Black Forest. He is considering where to settle when he returns to England. He jokes that Phil will be horrified when they next see each other as he has grown very fat. A separate letter written by Lewis' wife Eleanor (Nellie) talks about the family and their health. They had been to see a production of Faust but she was disappointed with the actors and singers.
