Correspondence from Rawdon Reilly to his sister Emma Pinckney nee Reilly, 3 December 1893
Rawdon wishes Emma Happy New Year and wonders what will happen in the coming year. He comments how the years seem to get shorter as he gets older. He wishes that 'a gang' will soon be kicked out of the Regiment. The General is arriving next week to inspect the troops and they will be holding a large gathering for him. Lewis is in Aden and doing very well.
