Correspondence from Louisa Reilly to her sister-in-law Emma Pinckney nee Reilly, 8 January 1895
Louisa gives an account of their wedding; the guests said it was quite the prettiest wedding for a while. Crossed swords were held by all the different regiments in Poona (Pune). Guests were invited to Louisa's counsin's house after the ceremony. Louisa thanks Emma for their wedding present of carvers [carving knives] - Rawdon will send her a coin due to the old superstitution.
