Description
  • There are a further six files which contain items of personal memorabilia, including army records and various testimonials, a collection of letters received, and newspaper cuttings. Three of the files relate to his holiday in Kashmir in September 1946. These include maps of Kashmir and Jammu province and the Hazara district, together with handbooks for service personnel travelling to Kashmir. The draft and fair copy of his handwritten journal of the Kashmir Trek is also included.
