In this short piece of footage, Williams explores the summer destination of British in India, Simla (Shimla), the capital and the largest city of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Williams is located at a hillstation in the Himalayan mountainside showing westernised buildings surrounded by conifers. Williams then focuses on a group of tree fellers within the city, at their daily labour.
